Tampa Bay Water is accepting applications for mini-grants to fund future projects and educational events hosted by local community groups, non-profits, schools and universities that strive to protect and promote the safety of the Tampa Bay region’s drinking water sources.

Applicants must provide a plan for a project or event that is related to source water protection in the Tampa Bay Water service area. The program grants funds for community-based activities including but not limited to: river clean-ups, storm water nature walks and educational field trips.

Past recipients have used the mini-grants to improve stormwater runoff, reduce litter going into waterways and educate students on the importance of protecting drinking water.

The application deadline is November 11, 2022
