The City of Duluth is making grants available to community groups and organizations for projects that will enhance and improve city parks and recreation.

To qualify, projects must take place in city parks, recreation buildings or trails. They must fulfill community park needs and encourage financial and volunteer efforts.

Priority will be given to projects that improve existing parks, focus on connecting the community through trails and bikeways, improve recreational buildings, enhance stewardship of natural resources, expand community partnerships and increase volunteering.

Please note that the first step in applying is to submit a letter of inquiry. If the inquiry is invited, an application must be submitted by the deadline. Application deadlines are October 1 and April 1.
