The Baptist Healing Trust makes grants to non-profit organizations with locations in Middle Tennessee qualifying under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code that have been in operation as a 501(c)(3) for at least one year and that operate health related programs that produce measurable health outcomes or advocate for healthcare access.
All grant proposals should display and emphasize respect for the dignity of all persons. Programs submitted should be consistent with the principles espoused by the mission and core values of the Baptist Healing Trust.
The Trust advocates:
Access: Access to holistic, quality healthcare is a right of every individual
Dignity: Every human being is worthy of/deserves compassionate healthcare
Impact: Initiatives address immediate needs and act as a catalyst for long-term solutions
Compassionate culture: Cultures of mindfulness, wisdom, peace, love and justice are essential to the delivery of compassionate healthcare
