COPIC Medical Foundation makes grants to programs and initiatives that address improvements in patient safety, quality of care, reducing medical errors, and improving disease management and transitions in care.
Activities must have a primary impact in Colorado and/or Nebraska and are typically centered on:
* The education and training of health care professionals
* Development, implementation, or changes in health care-related systems, tools, and processes that improve outcomes
* Pilot programs designed to improve medicine
Organizations seeking funding must qualify as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Upcoming deadlines are April 2 and August 2, 2019.
