The Rotary Club of Steamboat Springs accepts applications for grant funding twice per year.

The club has established several areas of focus that guide its grant-making decisions. Some of these guidelines include:

• Activity that improves the quality of life in Steamboat Springs and Routt County, Colorado.

• Activity that primarily serves seniors and youths.

• Grant funds must be used for specific activities not operational purposes.

• Grants will support distinctive, one-time activities and should not be depended upon for multiple years.

Grants will not be awarded retroactively after an activity is held, and organizations should not apply for funds to support the same project that was funded previously. Activities that impact larger numbers of local residents will be favored when the committee awards grants, and all grant requests will be considered based on funds available.

Application deadlines are April 1 and December 1.
