Sioux Empire United Way accepts applications from area non-profits for one year grant funding.
Grant funds are focused in 12 different areas: After-School, Basic Needs, Child Care, Counseling, Disabilities, Diversity, Emergency Services, Health & Healing, Seniors, Success By 6, Youth Development, Youth Outreach.
Community Impact Grants are open to all IRS designated 501(c) 3, non-profit agencies located within Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha, and Turner counties. Proposals are to be for new programs or for current programs with significant expansions that current budgets cannot support. Priority is given to programs that can substantiate need through documented research. Proposals are reviewed and funding determined by local community volunteers. Grant funding is a one-year designation with the option to apply up to three years.
