The Dime Bank Foundation is accepting applications for their next grant round.

Organizations seeking to apply for a grant must be located in the greater New London County or Westerly/Pawcatuck, R.I., areas and possess a tax exempt 501(c)3.

Funding priorities include affordable housing; basic human services for those considered most at-risk with an emphasis on children, families and/or the elderly at low-income levels; cultural enrichment programs, especially among disadvantaged populations; and development/education, job training or promotion of literacy, especially preventative programs that encourage self-sufficiency.

The foundation accepts applications on a year-round basis and the board reviews requests quarterly.
