Description
The Permian Basin Area Foundation makes grants in the Permian Basin area of western Texas. Eligible applicants are qualified nonprofit organizations that address needs in the areas of education and youth programs, culture, the arts, health, human services, and community development.
Priority is given to applications that identify the significant and long-term potential impact achieved by funding the project, communicate clear plans for timely implementation, promote volunteer participation, address community problems, exhibit resourceful funding practices, and demonstrate evidence of accountability.
First-time applicants or repeat applicants with a change in key executive leadership or development staff are required to contact the foundation no later than 30 days prior to the deadline to schedule a preliminary interview.
Grant recipients are not eligible to re-apply until two full years after their last award. For example, if your organization received a grant in the fall of 2021, your next eligible grant cycle would be the fall of 2023.
Applications are accepted twice annually, with deadlines of April 1 and October 1.
Grant information was last reviewed by our staff on 10/3/2023
