The major focus of the Carpenter Foundation is in four areas: human services, education, the arts and certain public interest issues. The Foundation limits funding to these activities and to the geographic area of Jackson and Josephine Counties with the exception of a few statewide public interest issues directly affecting persons living in these counties.

Applications deadlines are 5:00 pm on the last Friday of January, April, July and October.
