New Mexico Potters and Clay Artists - Bill Armstrong Grant*
NMPCA Armstrong Grant
c/o Michael Thornton
PO Box 26811
Albuquerque, NM 87125
Maximum Grant Amount
NOTE: Because of the unusual year in 2020 and realizing that many organizations plans are still uncertain for 2021, the NMPCA has moved the deadline for 2021 back to summer of 2021. The deadline is August 31, rather than March 15.
The New Mexico Potters and Clay Artists accepts grant applications annually in memory of late distinguished member, Bill Armstrong. Bill was instrumental in teaching many people about pottery and was always interesting in experimenting, learning more, and helping others.
In this spirit, New Mexico Potters gives an annual grant to assist with a ceramics education program or a ceramic art project. Funds may be used for purchasing supplies or equipment, contracting with a visiting artist, marketing/publicizing a special program or project or other activities directly related to ceramic art education.
Nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations and educational institutions located in New Mexico are eligible to apply.
Proposals for each year award will be accepted from October through March 15 (postmark by). Decision on the award will be made by June 30. This has changed for the 2021 year, but will likely go back to the usual cycle for 2022.
Note: Applicants must register online and signal intent to apply prior to submitting a full proposal.
