The Oregon State Historic Preservation Office is accepting letters of intent for matching grants toward rehabilitation work that supports the preservation of historic resources listed in the National Register of Historic Places or for significant work contributing toward identifying, preserving and/or interpreting archaeological sites.
Once you have submitted a letter of interest, you will be contacted to discuss the project and to perhaps schedule a site visit. You will receive email notification when you have approval to submit an application. The application will be submitted through the same online program.
The workshop will cover grant requirements, process, application questions, and how to use the online system.
- Historic Property Projects - February 21 at 1:00 pm
- Archaeology Projects - February 21 at 2:30 pm
Please register to attend.
A 1:1 match is required. The match can be in the form of cash, in-kind donations, and volunteer time.
The required Letter of Intent deadline is April 11
The application deadline is May 1
Note from your Grant Gopher team: We have included this grant in the Religion Related program area because several of our clients are seeking funding for restoration of historic religious buildings / spiritual sites. We do not want them to miss this opportunity.
