Doyon Limited, the Native regional corporation for Interior Alaska, is accepting applications for Daaga’ Awards. Daaga’ funding is for Interior Native individuals and organizations to promote drug and alcohol-free communities.

Events/programs should promote traditional values (e.g. traditional artwork instruction, learning beadwork, hunting, trapping, as well as promoting drug and alcohol free lifestyles).

Proposed projects should support the values of the Daaga’ Awards, which include contributing to the healing that lies within the local people, utilizing the strength of traditional values, and encouraging programs that integrate spiritual, social and economic needs of the communities.

Applications will be accepted and awarded year-round.
