Description
The Arkansas Arts Council is accepting applications to the Arts for Lifelong Learning Mini-Grant Program.
This initiative will enrich the lives of adults of all experience levels and abilities through quality arts learning experiences. This new program provides funding for eligible institutions that wish to host a short-term (up to 10 days) residency program with professional artists who are listed on the Arts in Education Roster.
Arts activities that include multigenerational populations are especially encouraged. Community-based or governmental organizations and institutions, whether they be facilities and/or organizations for elders, hospitals, counseling or rehabilitation centers, social service agencies, prisons or detention centers, or organizations that provide facilities and/or guidance for disabled adults, are encouraged to participate in this program.
Institutions of higher education, as well as museums, libraries and community centers that offer educational programming for adult populations, are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must show a 1:1 match of cash.
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until funding runs out.
