Maximum Grant Amount
The Arkansas Flower and Garden Show is accepting applications for the Greening of Arkansas program, which supports the development and ongoing care of community gardens, neighborhood parks, and public green spaces in Arkansas communities.
The program is intended to encourage organizations and civic groups to beautify and enhance their communities through horticulture. Grants will be awarded to nonprofit and civic groups for beautification projects on public land, including civic plantings in community gardens, neighborhood parks, and public spaces. Funds may only be used for the project in the area defined in the plan and project description, and 50 percent of the funds must be used for horticulture (trees, shrubs, and flowers).
To be eligible, applicants must be nonprofit community-based or civic organizations located in Arkansas. Organizations who receive a Greening Grant must wait two years before they can apply for another.
