Description

The Ash Grove Charitable Foundation is a company sponsored Foundation that makes grants in communities where Ash Grove Cement Company operates.

The Foundation gives primary consideration to capital building and renovation projects for the following funding priorities:
  • Nature – Protect or Preserve.
  • Education – STEM
  • Economic – Trade Skills
  • Civic – Gather in Community 
  • Human Services – Shelter

Geographic Eligibility
The Foundation makes grants in regional markets with an emphasis in the following states:
  • Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas
  • Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington
  • Iowa (Des Moines Metro Area), Kansas, Missouri (Kansas City Metro Area), Nebraska
  • North and Central Florida

Grant Amounts
Capital grants and special projects – up to $25,000
Program grants – up to $5,000

2024 Deadlines
Requests submitted between January 1 and March 15, 2024, will be reviewed and responded to by April 30, 2024
Requests submitted between March 16 and June 14, 2024, will be reviewed and responded to by July 31, 2024
Requests submitted between June 15 and September 20, 2024, will be reviewed and responded to by October 31, 2024
Requests submitted between September 21 and November 15, 2024, will be reviewed and responded to by December 13, 2024

After the November 15, 2024 deadline, the application portal will then reopen in January 2025.
