The Harvey County United Way is accepting applications for Special Projects grants. The primary outcome that the program delivers must be categorized as Education, Income and/or Health.
Last offered in 2016, the grant opportunity has returned thanks to the generosity of the R. Michael Rhoades Foundation. Five grants are available, each with a maximum award of $1,000. Awards are limited to one time per project.
To apply for a HCUW Special Project Fund grant, applicants must meet one of the following criteria
- Demonstrate a tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code; or
- Be an instrumentality of state or local government.
NOTE: While there is no deadline for applying, it is important to note the board considers applications as received until the funding is fully expended. The Grant Gopher team will review and update this grant opportunity on a quarterly basis (April 30, July 31, October 31) until the program is closed. The deadline noted in Grant Gopher is for tracking purposes only.
