Description

Coast Central Credit Union accepts applications to the Community Investment Program semi-annually. 

Grants are awarded to organizations throughout Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties.

Prior funding has been made to a wide variety programs and projects such as:
  • Vehicle purchase
  • Cages for trap - spay and neuter programs
  • Pet food program
  • Gym floor restoration
  • Public safety programs
  • Fire department equipment
  • Kitchen renovation
  • Track and field updates
  • Sports equipment
  • Food program meal vouchers
  • Trail restoration and conservation
  • Updated software for local area promotion


Awards are based on multiple priorities:
  • Located within CCCU service areas in Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties
  • Potential positive impact the grant would have on a group or organization’s project
  • Number of individuals positively impacted by support
  • Community projects that are already in progress (i.e. not still in the concept stages)

Eligibility
  • Nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)3 of the IRS, or
  • Public benefit organizations (public schools, government agencies, Indian Tribal Governments), or
  • Community groups that have a fiscal sponsor that meets 1 or 2 above.
Note: tax exemption will be verified prior to consideration.
