First National Bank North Platte will be accepting applications for its upcoming grant cycle which focuses on Affordable Housing & Neighborhood Stability as well as Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development. The next application period opens on June 4.
The funding focus within each category includes:
Affordable Housing & Neighborhood Stability: Increasing or maintaining access to safe, affordable, and quality housing or stimulating revitalization in blighted, underserved, and distressed communities.
Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development: Growing local economies through small business development and job creation.
Education & Workforce Development: Strengthening individual core competencies that will improve personal economic self-sufficiency, including adult basic education, and vocational and employability training.
Programs must be implemented for the benefit of low- or moderate-income individuals, families and/or communities within the First National Bank footprint.
Eligibility is limited to 501c3 nonprofit organizations that are currently implementing or planning to implement programs, services, and initiatives that are consistent with the programs identified above.
Impact Grants are awarded in two different cycles annually.
Affordable Housing & Neighborhood Stability and Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development
Grant applications will be accepted between January 6, 2021 – January 29, 2021
Grant award notifications will be sent in late March/early April 2021
Education & Workforce Development
Grant applications will be accepted between June 4, 2021 – June 25, 2021
Grant award notifications will be sent in late August/early September 2021
