Community Improvement Grants Available (Multiple States)
The Matson Foundation aims to improve and support the communities it serves. The foundation focuses on culture and arts, civic and community programs, ocean resource conservation, human services, and education, as well as improving the quality of life in its employees’ communities.  Applications may be submitted at any time.

Community Grants Available for Nonprofits in Indiana
Dubois REC accepts applications for Operation Round Up grants quarterly.  Funding categories are community service, education, youth, and environment.  The next application period is May 1 to May 31, 2019.

Grants for Nonprofits in Jefferson County Iowa

The Greater Jefferson County Foundation is accepting grant applications for educational, cultural, civic and charitable purposes for the benefit of the greater community of Jefferson County, Iowa. Area communities benefiting from these grants include Fairfield, Batavia, Libertyville, Lockridge, Pleasant Plain, and Packwood.  The application deadline is June 1, annually.

Public Safety Grants Available (Multiple States)
The Erie Insurance Group is accepting grant applications.  Requests should support one of the community areas of focus: Safety, Community Building and Environmental Responsibility.   Application deadlines are May 6, August 14, and September 18, 2019.

Grants for Nonprofit Organizations in Southwest Idaho

The Idaho Community Foundation (ICF) grant cycle for southwest Idaho covers Ada, Adams, Blaine, Boise, Camas, Canyon, Cassia, Elmore, Gem, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, Owyhee, Payette, Twin Falls, Valley and Washington counties.  The application deadline is August 15, 2019.

Environmental Grants in Washington

The City of Tacoma will begin accepting applications to the Make a Splash program on May 1. Funding is available for environmental grants to help educate residents and protect and restore surface water resources.  The application deadline is May 31, 2019.

Environment Protection Grants in Pennsylvania

The South Mountain Partnership mini-grant program, administered by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, is accepting pre-applications for the 2019 grant round.  The deadline is May 31, 2019.

Forestry Grants in Missouri

The Missouri Department of Conservation is accepting applications for grants to assist government agencies, public schools, and non-profit groups with the management, improvement, and conservation of trees and forests on public land.  The application deadline is June 7, 2019.

Grants to Support Rural Communities in Vermont

The Windham Foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations to serve its mission of “promoting Vermont’s rural communities”.  Application deadlines for 2019 are February 13, May 15, August 14, and November 13.Vermont grants
