Nonprofit Organization Grants Available in Virginia

The Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge is accepting grant applications. Eligible organizations are those with 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status, either located within or operating programs within the Foundation’s service area Cities of Staunton and Waynesboro, and Augusta, Nelson, and Highland Counties).  The application deadline is February 11, 2019.

Habitat Restoration Grants in Minnesota

The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District is accepting cost-share grant applications from residents, schools, townhouse and condominium associations, and other eligible organizations for projects that protect and improve water and natural resources within the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District.  The application deadline is March 22, 2019.

Grants for Nonprofit Organizations in Iowa

The Dallas County Foundation is accepting applications for their annual grant cycle. The foundation’s areas of emphasis include: arts and culture, youth development, education, health, human services, community improvement, recreation, historic preservation, and environment.  The deadline is February 1, 2019. Habitat Preservation Grants in Washington

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is accepting applications for Aquatic Lands Enhancement Account (ALEA) grants. The ALEA Grant Program funds five major types of projects; however, others may be considered.  The application deadline is February 28, 2019.

Wildlife Habitat and Restoration Grants
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation is accepting applications to the Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley Restoration Fund.  This Fund will award grants to expand bottom land hardwood and wetland restoration, enhancement, conservation, and protection on private and public lands to improve wildlife habitat and water quality.  The application deadline is January 24, 2019.

Neighborhood Sustainability Grants Available in Arizona
The City of Flagstaff is accepting applications for the Neighborhood Sustainability Grants Program. The program was created by the Sustainability Commission to support projects that enhance community and promote sustainable and healthy lifestyles. The next application deadline is April 1, 2019.

Michigan Grants for Nonprofits

Non-profit charitable organizations serving the Muskegon County region are eligible to apply for a grant from the Community Foundation for Muskegon County. The Foundation will consider proposals in the following areas: arts and culture, health and human services, education, environment, emerging community needs, and Muskegon Downtown Development.  Letter of inquiry deadlines are February 1 and August 31, annually.

Grants for Humanities, Education, and Community Service in Maryland

The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation is committed to building a stronger community for residents of the Washington, DC area through support of programs in arts and humanities, community services, education, health and the environment. Proposal deadlines are March 1, July 1 and November 1.

The Batchelor Foundation is private foundation focused on grant making to support children, animals, and the natural environment in South Florida.   Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis.

The Ottawa County Community Foundation, Inc is accepting proposals for grants from unrestricted funds. These grants support a variety of programs in the fields of education, social services, physical and mental health, safe and positive living environments, natural resources and the arts.  The application deadline is March 15, annually.
