Community Health Grants for Nonprofit Organizations in Ohio
Rocky Brands is accepting grant proposals to the Rocky Community Improvement Fund (RCIF) from community-based agencies and organizations serving vulnerable populations in southeastern Ohio.  The application deadline is April 15, 2019.

Open Space Preservation Grants Available in New Jersey
The Association of New Jersey Environmental Commission is accepting applications for Open Space Stewardship Projects.  The application deadline is April 15, 2019.

Fish Habitat Restoration Grants Available in California
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is accepting applications to the Fisheries Restoration Grant Program. Funding is available for anadromous salmonid restoration projects that address impacts of the ongoing drought.  The application deadline is April 16, 2019.

Social Justice Grants Available to Tribes and Native Led Nonprofits in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana

The Potlatch Fund will begin accepting grant applications to the Community Building program on March 5.  The Fund is particularly interested in supporting initiatives that address the root causes of social, economic, racial, or environmental issues.  The application deadline is April 9, 2019.

Watershed and Water Quality Grants in Connecticut
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is accepting applications for Section 319 Nonpoint Source grants.  The application deadline is April 3, 2019.

Grants to Support Rural Communities in Vermont

The Windham Foundation provides grants to non-profit organizations to serve its mission of “promoting Vermont’s rural communities”.  Application deadlines for 2019 are February 13, May 15, August 14, and November 13.Vermont grants

Habitat Restoration Grants in Minnesota

The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District is accepting cost-share grant applications from residents, schools, townhouse and condominium associations, and other eligible organizations for projects that protect and improve water and natural resources within the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District.  The application deadline is March 22, 2019.

Neighborhood Sustainability Grants Available in Arizona
The City of Flagstaff is accepting applications for the Neighborhood Sustainability Grants Program. The program was created by the Sustainability Commission to support projects that enhance community and promote sustainable and healthy lifestyles. The next application deadline is April 1, 2019.

Michigan Grants for Nonprofits

Non-profit charitable organizations serving the Muskegon County region are eligible to apply for a grant from the Community Foundation for Muskegon County. The Foundation will consider proposals in the following areas: arts and culture, health and human services, education, environment, emerging community needs, and Muskegon Downtown Development.  Letter of inquiry deadlines are February 1 and August 31, annually.
