The Yorktown Fund at the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County is taking applications for annual grants of up to $2,500 to help the community of Yorktown.
Grant applications must be for projects to benefit the town. Applicants must be non-profit groups or the town; grants cannot be made to individuals.
Examples of past projects include trees planted at the Isanogel Center, special programs at the Yorktown-Mount Pleasant Public Library and a pergola and outdoor furniture at Pilgrim Place.
The application deadline is May 1, annually
