The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge accepts applications twice annually to the Local Project Assistance Grant (PAG) program.

This program is designed to respond to the needs of nonprofit arts and cultural organizations located in East Baton Rouge Parish, to promote artistic collaboration, and to provide the citizens of Greater Baton Rouge with diverse cultural offerings of excellence.

Funds are for specific art projects presented by nonprofit organizations in EBR Parish.

Eligibility:
  • The applicant must be a nonprofit corporation, organization, association, or institution, chartered with the State of Louisiana or holding an IRS 501(c)(3) status for at least one year. No part of an eligible organization’s earnings should be used for the benefit of any individual.
  • The applicant must be domiciled in EBRP and serve all or part of the Greater Baton Rouge area.
  • The applicant must have an active board of directors and officers, as well as have evidence of community support.
  • Governmental agencies, churches, synagogues, and public/private universities and schools are not eligible

No more than two projects per applicant will be funded per granting round.

The annual deadlines to apply for Local Project Assistance Grants are February 1st and September 1st.
