The Doris Day Animal Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations for animal welfare, human assistance animals, the care and feeding of animals, and pet adoption and rescue. Currently, a primary focus area is assisting senior companion animals for food, care, veterinary costs, or need for adoption.
Interested applicants should first submit a letter of inquiry including:
* A short history and purpose of your organization,
* Description of the project where you would like help, and
* The amount of funding you are seeking.
Letters of introduction will be accepted during the first month of each quarter (January, April, July, and October).
