Just a few of the latest grants in Alaska...

Community Improvement Grants Available (Multiple States)
The Matson Foundation aims to improve and support the communities it serves. The foundation focuses on culture and arts, civic and community programs, ocean resource conservation, human services, and education, as well as improving the quality of life in its employees’ communities.  Applications may be submitted at any time.




Animal Rescue Grants

The Doris Day Animal Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations for animal welfare, human assistance animals, the care and feeding of animals, and pet adoption and rescue.  The next LOI period is July 1 - July 31, 2019.



Grants from Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle supports organizations through sponsorships, in-restaurant fundraisers, donations, and a scrip program.  Requests must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the event/donation date.



Grassroots Arts Grants Available in Alaska

The Alaska State Council on the Arts accepts Community Arts Development Grant applications quarterly. These grants are designed to stimulate grassroots arts activity and encourage statewide public interest and participation in the arts. The grants help small Alaskan nonprofit organizations develop arts programs in underserved areas of the state, underserved art disciplines, and underserved art audiences.  The deadlines are June 1, September 1, December 1, and March 1.



Grants for Music Instruments

Classics for Kids Foundation aims to bridge the funding gap and enhance school music programs by providing matching grants for beautiful new stringed instruments.  Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis.



Community Rights and Justice Grants

The Open Meadows Foundation is a grantmaking organization for projects that are led by and benefit women and girls.  Application deadlines are February 15 and August 15, annually.



Social Justice Grants

The Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations is accepting proposals from non-Unitarian Universalist groups in the U.S. and Canada for community organizing campaigns aimed at creating systemic change in the economic, social, and political structures that affect the lives of those who have been excluded from resources, power, and the right to self-determination.  The next application deadline is September 15, 2019.



Amateur Radio Education Grant

Teachers who enrich their classrooms through imaginative means such as Amateur Radio often must do so at their personal expense. The purpose of the ARRL Progress Grant is to offer modest financial support to those teachers who are currently using Amateur Radio in their classrooms as an instructional tool and who need financial assistance for specific purposes.  The application deadline is November 1, annually.



Partnership for Clean Competition Grant

The Partnership for Clean Competition will support high-quality, high-impact, novel research that has a high likelihood of success and of resulting in methods or products that will advance the anti-doping field and ensure integrity in sport.  Pre-applications are reviewed three times during the year.



Grants to Research a Cure for Tinnitus

The American Tinnitus Association Research Grant Program financially supports scientific studies investigating tinnitus. Studies must be directly concerned with tinnitus and contribute to ATA's goal of finding a cure.  The application deadine is November 15, annually.
