Capital Grants Available for Nonprofit Organizations (Multiple States)
The Sunderland Foundation makes grants annually to publicly supported charitable organizations with tax exempt status under section 501 [c] 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation prefers to make grants for capital and special projects rather than for annual operating expenses.   Applications may be submitted at any time.

Grants for Nonprofits in Iowa
The Greater Jefferson County Foundation is accepting grant applications for educational, cultural, civic and charitable purposes for the benefit of the greater community of Jefferson County, Iowa. Area communities benefiting from these grants include Fairfield, Batavia, Libertyville, Lockridge, Pleasant Plain, and Packwood.  The application deadline is June 1, annually.




Grants for Nonprofit Organizations in Iowa

Empowering Adair County Foundation accepts grant applications quarterly.  The application deadlines are January 15, March 15, May 15, and November 15.



Grants for Nonprofit Organizations in Iowa

The Cass County Community Foundation is accepting grant applications. The goal of the Foundation grant program is to improve the quality of life in the county by supporting needs that are not being met in the areas of civic, cultural, health, education and social service.  Application deadlines are February 1 and September 1, annually.



Human Service Program Grants

The Viking Foundation of Lincoln is accepting grant applications from 501(c)(3) organizations in Lancaster County, Nebraska; Polk County, Iowa; and Denver County, Colorado. The grants will be for those who are challenged with education, poverty, housing, gender, mental and physical health, and other issues.  The application deadline is October 1, annually.



Grants for Teachers

The Voya Unsung Heroes program (formerly the ING Unsung Heroes program) annually provides grants to K-12 educators utilizing new teaching methods and techniques that improve learning.  The application deadline is April 30, annually.



Community Benefit Grants in Iowa

Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino is accepting applications for Community Betterment Grants in the areas of economic development, education, arts and culture, health, and human services.  The application deadline is August 15, annually.



Grants to Internationalize Teaching and Learning in the Classroom

The Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) Program accepts applications annually from qualified U.S. middle and high school teachers for professional development grant opportunity to internationalize teaching and learning in their classes.  The application deadline is generally in mid-March.



Community Improvement Grants in Iowa

Cedar Falls Tourism and Visitors Bureau accepts applications annually for community betterment projects.  The annual deadline is October 31.



Grants for Nonprofits in Iowa

The Scott County Regional Authority (SCRA) is a non-profit corporation which provides funding to educational institutions, government/civic and not-for profit organizations through a grant process.  The application deadlines are April 1 and October 1, annually.
