The Pirates Charities Fields for Kids program provides financial support to improve youth baseball and/or softball facilities via matching grants. Firefighter Training Grants Available in OhioThe Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of State Fire Marshal (SFM) is pleased to announce the availability of the Firefighter I Training Grant. 


This grant provides funding in State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2017 (ending June 30, 2017) to pay for the costs of providing Firefighter I or Firefighter I Transition certification courses free of charge at SFM approved class providers.  


Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until March 1, 2017, or until funds are expended.
