FedEx is committed to actively supporting the communities they serve through strategic investment of people, resources and network. Corporate resources include financial contributions, in-kind charitable shipping services and volunteer services.

Funding Priorities

  • Disaster Readiness, Relief and Recovery: FedEx accepts applications from organizations that bring relief to victims of emergencies or natural disasters. Specifically, funds are directed toward the quick and efficient transport of aid, and disaster preparedness education initiatives.  Note: FedEx has relationships with the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, United Way Worldwide and Heart to Heart International; applications from local chapters of these organizations are generally not accepted.

  • Child Pedestrian Safety: FedEx is interested in supporting organizations that help keep child pedestrians safe through increasing awareness and knowledge of pedestrian safety as an issue, helping change unsafe child pedestrian behaviors, and/or creating environmental improvements to keep child pedestrians safe in local communities.

  • Sustainability: EarthSmart Outreach programs extend the commitment to sustainability to communities through charitable and team member support. EarthSmart Outreach investments focus on sustainable transportation solutions that reduce emissions and congestion, enhance safety and expand accessibility; building sustainable cities through the conservation and restoration of parks and green spaces; and, promote ecosystem vitality through the rehabilitation of natural habitats impacted by disaster and improving disaster resilience. In addition to our commitment to these core areas, FedEx supports select education as well as local community projects identified by our team members.

FedEx supports projects that engage students in the global economy, catalyze reform that close the achievement gap, and advance opportunities for minorities through access to higher education. Applications for local community projects or programs are by invitation only; your organization must be invited by an approved FedEx team member to be considered.
