The City of Columbia is accepting applications for hospitality tax grants and accommodations tax grants from nonprofit organizations that boost the tourism industry in the city of Columbia.
To be eligible, an organization must be a nonprofit with documentation from the South Carolina Secretary of State’s Office, with activities in the City of Columbia.
The accommodations tax grant financially supports nonprofits and their respective projects and events that have a goal of attracting tourists by promoting overnight accommodations. Applications are due by 5 p.m. March 17.
The hospitality tax grant provides finances to nonprofits and their projects and events that have a mission to attract tourists to the city through dining promotions. Applications are due by 5 p.m. March 24, 2017.
