The mission of the Blue Hills Bank Charitable Foundation is to strengthen  communities and the residents who reside in them by providing funding to eligible non-profit organizations in their area. They make grants to support human services, affordable housing and community development, the arts and education where this funding will yield significant results within the community.


Eligibility for these programs will only be granted to organizations who have received 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status from the IRS. Blue Hills Bank Charitable Foundation will not fund organizations which discriminate based on age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, family status, receipt of public assistance or sexual orientation.


The Foundation will award grants to the communities in which the branches are located or those locations contiguous to branch and office locations. The cities and towns comprising this area are: Hyde Park, West Roxbury, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, Roslindale, Roxbury, South Boston, Brookline, Canton, Dedham, Dover, Easton, Foxborough, Mansfield, Medfield, Milton, Needham, Newton, Norwood, Randolph, Sharon, Stoughton, Walpole and Westwood.


 

There is no deadline noted, it appears applications can be submitted at any time.
