Capital Project Grant Funds for Outdoor Recreation and Conservation

Dane County Parks accepts applications year round for the Conservation Fund Grant Program . This program offers grants to non-profit organizations and local governmental units for the purchase of land or land interests identified in the Dane County Parks & Open Space Plan or for lands in buffer areas immediately adjacent to park lands. There is no application deadline.

 



Grants for Community Needs in Watertown South Dakota

Grants in South DakotaThe Watertown Area Community Foundation accepts grant applications at any time for programs in:  arts and culture, education, human services, health, environment, recreation, and community priorities.  


Applications are reviewed monthly.



Community Grants Available for Nonprofits in Indiana
Dubois REC accepts applications for Operation Round Up grants quarterly.  Funding categories are community service, education, youth, and environment.  Grant cycle deadlines are the last working day of February, May, August and November.




Grants for Nonprofits in Iowa
The Greater Jefferson County Foundation is accepting grant applications for educational, cultural, civic and charitable purposes for the benefit of the greater community of Jefferson County, Iowa. Area communities benefiting from these grants include Fairfield, Batavia, Libertyville, Lockridge, Pleasant Plain, and Packwood.  The application deadline is June 1, annually.




Grants for Nonprofits in Mississippi
The Riley Foundation makes grants to charitable and governmental organizations for charitable purposes and to provide financial resources and assistance for community-wide projects and programs in healthcare, education, and the betterment of cultural, environmental and economic conditions for the people of Meridian and Lauderdale County, Mississippi.  Application deadlines are quarterly as follows: November 15, February 15, May 15, and August 15. Applications are due the following Monday if the 15th is on a weekend. 



Grants for Nonprofits in Texas

The TransCanada Charitable Fund managed by the East Texas Communities Foundation is accepting grant applications.  Applications may be submitted at any time; please allow at least 8 weeks for a review and response.



Watershed Project Grants in Michigan

The Saginaw Bay Watershed Initiative Network (WIN) is accepting applications for its Community Action Mini-Grant Program, offering funding for organizations that are working to make improvements in their neighborhoods, communities, and watersheds with economic, environmental and/or community impacts.  Grant proposals may be submitted at any time.



Grants for Nonprofit Organizations in Kansas

The Greater Salina Community Foundation is accepting grant applications to the Fund for Greater Salina, an unrestricted community grant fund. Applications are not limited to a particular issue or target population.  The application period runs from July 1 to April 25 and applications may be submitted at any time during that period.  



Grants for Nonprofit Organizations in Indiana

The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations including: charitable 501(c)(3) status organizations, schools, churches and governments in or serving Clark and Floyd counties to apply for grants.  Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly.



Mini Grants Available in Washington DC

The Capitol Hill Community Foundation accepts mini-grant applications at any time. The Foundation awards grants to non-profit organizations, schools and other neighborhood groups in support of programs and projects that benefit residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood.  Applications are accepted at any time.
