Grants for School Gardens in New YorkGrow to Learn is accepting applications for their school garden mini-grant program.  Grant applications are accepted from New York City public and charter schools who have registered with Grow to Learn.  

The next application deadline is November 4, 2016.


Grants for Community Gardening Projects in Virginia

Grants for Community Gardening Projects in VirginiaThe New River Valley Master Gardener Association is now accepting grant applications for Spring 2017 gardening projects.  Organizations within the counties of Floyd, Giles, Pulaski and Montgomery are encouraged to apply.  

The application deadline is November 1, 2016.

Grants Available for Community Improvement Projects in Chautauqua County New York
The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is accepting applications to the Community Pride Program. The program supports clean, attractive neighborhoods, well-maintained parks, signage, and other projects that promote pride in northern Chautauqua County.  The application deadline is March 1 2017.

Watershed Project Grants in Michigan

The Saginaw Bay Watershed Initiative Network (WIN) is accepting applications for its Community Action Mini-Grant Program, offering funding for organizations that are working to make improvements in their neighborhoods, communities, and watersheds with economic, environmental and/or community impacts.  Grant proposals may be submitted at any time.

Environmental Education Grants in Florida

The Sarasota Bay Estuary Grant Program provides funding to promote environmental education, awareness, community involvement, and stewardship to improve the overall quality of Sarasota Bay and its tributaries.  The application deadline is early March, annually. Florida grants

Grants for Community Environmental Projects in California

The Tri-City Ecology Center has grant funds available for young people and adults working on local environmental projects. To qualify, applicants must be a resident or organization in the Tri-City area (Fremont, Union City, Newark). No deadline has been noted.

Grants from Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle supports organizations through sponsorships, in-restaurant fundraisers, donations, and a scrip program. There is no application deadline.

Community Agriculture Grants

The Green Pasture Fund was established at Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation in 1999 by an anonymous donor. The fund’s mission is to preserve and encourage small, community-based agricultural ventures which might include, but are not limited to: community-supported agriculture; local farmer’s markets; urban garden programs; agricultural scholarships; cooperative programming; internships; grantwriting; and marketing.  The application deadline is March 1, annually.
